ATTACHED
There are things, which mean everything to us. Be it a
person, be it a book, be it any gadget of our own.
There is always one thing that makes us feel better when it’s around us. The constant need to
hold on to it, is always present in our subconscious mind.
How?
And why?
Let’s answer the first question.
How?
We constantly get attached to something that comforts
us, every now and then. A kind of comfort we often need
to calm our nerves down, to stop our fingers from shaking, to slow down our
racing heart, and certainly to calm our breathes down. With time the attachment
just grows and then we need that one stuff to be with us all the time. And if
it isn’t
there, then our heart rate goes up and down in a second. Just the way it does
when we don’t
remember where we kept our cell phone, or when we lose our glasses.
Yes! exactly the same.
Now lets come to the other question
Why?
A human being is a social animal.
This sentence sounds so dramatic and so pathetic, but
it is true.
We
all need love and affection, sense of attachment and support in our life. Without
that life is incomplete, its empty more precisely it’s numb. Without feeling anything
we just can’t
survive a day.
We have to feel things,
Miss things and love things,
Love people and love ourself.
That’s how we need to have something to hold on to.
To survive,
To exist,
To live.
